It's gorgeous Lori!
And so beautiful that it means something to you.

My partner has our kids initials inked in the same spot (on both arms) and he almost cried ;)

You are officially more awesome than my Irishman.

It's beautiful, Lori! Congrats! I thought the same thing when I got mine - I was cringing in anticipation and then when the tattoo artist started, I went "Oh that's not so bad!" I have a simple sun & moon with my boys' names over my heart. I love having ink - it's like jewelry only you don't have to remember to put it on & you can't lose it!

Love it! As a fellow tattooed mama, i appreciate a bit of ink...

Also, it might feel like the end of something but i think of it like this - its a permanent reminder. Tony is with you now, everywhere you go... as i'm sure he would be whether you had the tatt or not. Just, this way, you have that physical reminder to look at whenever you feel you need a lift....

Tattoo's are addictive huh?
I always describe them feeling like, you know in highschool when you used to draw/write on your arms or where ever else? And you know those cheapo pens that were really spiky and hurt more than your pilot pens. It feels like those.

I love the tatt. It is gorgeous. Really loving the colours.

I love it! What a great way to honour Tony.

I laughed too, as one of my tattoos features a four leaf clover as well

Awesome ink and I so agree with your description for the pain. Nothing compared to labor though ;)

Love the tattoo Lori. Close friend did the same thing when his son died, not the kind of bloke to get a tattoo, but it was a brief healing moment for him and one of the few things that he felt he could do.
Hope your new art brings you happy memories,
ann

It is so beautiful! The pains not nearly as bad as you think it's going to be. I remember thinking of it like a sunburn.

I don't like tats, never have. But I really like that one. Maybe less to do with what it looks like, and more the story behind it.
